About Us
We are Peter and Maureen Coultas. We have been in the picture business for fifteen years. We started our business, Mountjoy, in 1991 – cutting and hand decorating picture mounts for the framing trade around UK.
When computerised machines came in for this type of work, hand decorating died the inevitable death but undaunted, we branched out into retail. We continued to cut mounts and added bespoke framing and photo frames to our range.
We have an attractive shop and are extremely well thought of for our mounting and framing, particularly for our sensitive use of colour.
More recently though, we began to notice an increasing number of customers with digital photos requesting ways to preserve them. They were looking for good albums to store them in.
So we searched out these albums to put in our shop. They were so well received we decided to branch out onto the internet and so Mount Your Pics was conceived.
